Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 April 2026 · Effective on acceptance.
1. Who we are
RivalSkills (“we”, “us”, “the platform”) operates a real-time competitive skill-based gaming platform featuring head-to-head games (Maze, Candy, Blocks, Snake, Coins, Bubble). By creating an account with your email and password, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
- You are at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher.
- RivalSkills is a global, international platform — we do not maintain a default geo-block. By signing up, you confirm that skill-based wagering is lawful where you are accessing the service from. You are responsible for your jurisdiction’s rules; if play isn’t legal where you live, don’t play. See the Privacy Policy for our jurisdictional posture.
- You are accessing the platform on your own behalf, not as an agent of a third party, and not using funds derived from criminal activity.
- You are not on any sanctions list (OFAC, EU, UK HMT, UN). We block such addresses on sight.
3. Nature of the service
RivalSkills is a skill-based real-time multiplayer gaming platform. Players stake USDT into a segregated balance and the winner of each match receives the pot, less a 5% platform fee. Winning condition varies by game: first to the maze exit (Maze), highest match-3 score (Candy), highest placed + cleared score (Blocks), longest surviving snake (Snake), most coins collected (Coins), most colour-cluster pops (Bubble). Every match’s starting board is derived from a publicly verifiable seed (server-seed commit-reveal scheme). Outcomes are determined entirely by player skill against an identical starting state.
4. Account & funds responsibility
You are solely responsible for the security of your account credentials — your email and password. Keep your password confidential and do not share it. We will never ask you for your password. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
5. Deposits, stakes & withdrawals
- USDT deposits are processed by our third-party crypto payment processor on the Tron (TRC-20) network. The processor generates a one-off Tron address per deposit invoice and we credit your USDT balance via signed IPN callback once the chain confirms the transfer. Minimum 5 / maximum 25,000 per invoice. Sending tokens over a different network (ERC-20, BEP-20, Solana SPL) is unrecoverable.
- Your balance is segregated into available + locked columns. Stakes are held from the moment a terminal fills until the match settles, and are only ever paid to the match winner in the same currency they were staked in.
- Withdrawals are sent over Tron (TRC-20) to a withdrawal address you specify; the platform covers the on-chain network fee.
- We may pause deposits or withdrawals briefly for security incidents or scheduled maintenance. Active stakes always settle, even during pauses.
- Withdrawals exceeding a threshold (set per jurisdiction and per currency) require completion of identity verification (see Verification).
6. Fair play & anti-cheat
Cheating, the use of external automation (bots, scripted clients), exploitation of software bugs, collusion between accounts, or any attempt to manipulate match outcomes results in immediate forfeiture of stakes and a permanent ban. The game server is authoritative on win detection. We log every move event server-side and may publish fraud signals on request.
7. Provably fair seeds
Each match’s starting board — whether it’s a maze, candy grid, block queue, snake-and-food layout, coin map, or bubble grid — is generated from a seed produced by a server-seed commit-reveal protocol shared across all games. We publish sha256(serverSeed) before the match, the client seed is the sorted list of player ids plus the game type, and after the match we reveal the server seed so the seed derives from sha256(serverSeed | clientSeed | nonce). Any user can verify the starting state for a finished game matches its proof. See Provably Fair for the verification recipe.
8. Responsible gaming
Tools to set deposit limits, schedule reality checks, and self-exclude are available on the Responsible Gaming page. Self-exclusions of 7 days or longer cannot be reversed early on the same device.
9. Disputes
Raise disputes within 30 days of the disputed match through Contact Support or by email to [email protected]. Provide the game ID and your account email. We aim to respond within 72 hours. Unresolved disputes are governed by the arbitration clause to be specified by counsel for the operator’s jurisdiction.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RivalSkills and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including lost profits, data loss, or service interruption. Our total aggregate liability to you is capped at the total platform fees you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
11. Modifications
We may update these Terms with 30 days’ notice via email (if subscribed) and a banner on the site. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance. Material changes (fee increases, scope reductions, jurisdiction changes) are flagged explicitly in the change-log.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, regulatory request, or to protect other users. You may close your account at any time via Contact Support; existing stakes still settle.
